REMODELING, Simplified.
Every project is different. While this process illustrates the full remodeling journey from initial concept through final walkthrough, your scope will be tailored to where you are in the process and the specific needs of your project.
PROCESS
-
A complimentary phone call to learn more about your home, your project, and where you are in the process. We’ll discuss your goals, anticipated timeline and budget, any questions or challenges you’re navigating, and identify the most appropriate next step.
-
An in-person walkthrough to take a closer look at your project and existing conditions. We’ll review any plans or proposals you already have, explore potential project phasing, identify key questions or unknowns, and determine where B.E. can best support you moving forward.
-
Following the consultation, you’ll receive a proposal defining B.E.’s recommended role in your project. It will clearly outline the scope of services, project-specific responsibilities and deliverables, investment and payment structure, and what you can expect moving forward.
-
Once the proposal is accepted, we’ll organize and establish the foundation for working together. Your shared Project Hub will be created, existing project information will be gathered, and we’ll identify the immediate priorities and milestones.
-
This is where the pieces begin to come together. We’ll refine the project scope alongside your architect or interior designer, as needed, support project team selection, and review and compare contractor proposals, allowances, and exclusions. As the project develops, we’ll track permits and selections, and help prepare everything needed to move confidently into construction.
-
During construction, B.E. serves as an organized point of support on the homeowner’s side of the project. We’ll help keep communication clear, track open items, review change orders, attend project meetings as needed, and provide regular project updates so you know what’s happening and what needs your attention.
-
As construction comes to an end, we’ll shift our focus to getting the final details across the finish line. We’ll coordinate the homeowner punch list, review outstanding items, organize closeout information and warranties, and complete a final project review before celebrating the finished space.
